Alert! Last of Vintage!

We’re getting very low in stock of some Moorooroo favourites wines. As it looks like we’ll sell out well before releases of new vintages, we wanted to let you know what we’re running low in so you can stock up before they’re gone.

2017 The Moo Shiraz
1 case remaining

The Moo Shiraz is a playful deviation from our flagship Lotties Shiraz. A full-bodied wine that embodies the spirit of Barossa artistry and an outstanding food wine, reflecting Wyndham’s chef’s instincts.

Showcasing the region’s strengths, 2017 is a robust and complex, textural experience driven by bright fruit intensity aided by two and a half years of barrel maturation. Expect an aroma of red berries and coffee, while the vigorous palate bursts with cherry, raspberry, chocolate and mint with a peppery finish that is rounded out by soft tannins and hints of prune.

2020 Anna Clara Shiraz Rosé
17 cases remaining

Harvested in late March and kept completely free from oak influence to preserve a crisp, youthful character. This rose petal coloured beauty is made to a red wine drinkers palate and packs a punch of flavour. Anna Clara Shiraz Rosé boasts boldness and purity of flavour, vivid liveliness and a clean, dry finish. 2020 Anna Clara tastes of prune and lemon zest and is balanced by bright acidity. Notes of lemon, rosewater and eucalyptus grace the bouquet while the finish is clean and crisp with a whack of fresh cherries.

2015 Harries Grenache Shiraz
2 cases remaining

Harries warms us with comforting familiarity. It is rich in flavour, harmoniously balanced, generous of length and well developed in complexity. A heavily perfumed wine, characteristic of fine Grenache, the palate hums as layers of stewed plum, liquorice, cherries and raspberry open into an elegant finish that boasts fine, subtle tannins and lingering, dark chocolate intensity. A small addition of organic Shiraz provides ample body and finessed structure.

2014 Harries Grenache Shiraz
less than 1 case remaining

This particular year is remembered as a testament to the ability of both grapes and people to thrive under adversity. 2014 was a year of extremes, temperatures were hotter than both minimum and maximum averages. We also experienced winds in spring and unseasonal frost events resulting in uneven, poor yields for some and in a few cases entire vineyards lost fruit.

Our sheltered Shiraz vineyard was, as ever, immune from frost and the impact on our Grenache was minimal. The heat adversity resulted in rich wines with dense colours. The struggles experienced by the vines and the grapes in 2014 has created very fine, varietal wines that have shown great cellaring promise.

2014 Harries, with its liquorice and marzipan aroma, was finessed into a balanced palate of jammy plums, cherries and black pepper. The finish boasts elegance and softness, a floral headiness acquiesces to earth, coffee and chocolate.
