
The Moo Shiraz is a playful deviation from our flagship Lotties Shiraz. A full bodied wine that embodies the spirit of Barossa artistry.
Showcasing the region’s strengths, The 2017 is a robust and complex, textural experience driven by bright fruit intensity aided by two and half years of barrel maturation. Expect an aroma of dark berries and coffee, while the robust palate bursts with cherry, raspberry, chocolate and mint with a peppery finish.
This wine is drinking beautifully now especially as a food pairing, we’re reminded of evenings sitting by the fire with family enjoying simple Italian fare made with fine Barossa ingredients.

Drink with
Wyndham’s Red Wine Reduction
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 bacon rasher diced
- 2 shallots diced
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 sprig thyme
- 200ml red wine
- 175ml port
- 700ml beef stock
- salt to taste
Method 1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
2. Add bacon, shallots and garlic and cook until softened and beginning to brown.
3. Add herbs, wine and port bringing to a boil. Reduce to medium heat and allow to simmer until halved in volume.
4. Add stock and reduce by half again, tasting for salt.
5. Strain through a fine sieve before serving with steak, duck, venison or potatoes.
