Everyone’s lives have changed so drastically over the past few weeks and we’ve not been immune at Moorooroo.
We’re working from home, to keep ourselves, our families and our communities safe. Can you guess which setup belongs to Reuben and which one is Jodie’s? (Mine’s the best one, obviously.)
For some of us social distancing is made much easier by living walking distance from the ocean. It’s almost like Reuben likes working from home!
Jodie is still hand delivering all orders to metropolitan Adelaide, reducing the possibility of delays experienced by some delivery partners. This also reduces points of contact with your wine.
We’re definitely keeping busy, even from home. We’ve got some exciting new things in the works, which we’ll talk about in a future email. Keep ’em peeled!
In bottle
In the midst of v20, while adapting to changing conditions to ensure Moorooroo has a 2020 vintage to offer, we’ve been hard at work bottling our next releases.
The 2016 Lotties Shiraz went into bottle last week, and the 2016 Harries Grenache Shiraz went into bottle yesterday.
The sound of new Lotties is music to many ears, but the 2016 vintage deserves our patience. We’ll be releasing it as soon as it’s ready, don’t worry we’ll let you know the very minute it’s available.
The last bottles of our 2012 Black on Black Shiraz were delivered to their new home yesterday. Don’t despair though! A few bottles of the 2010 are still available if you’re looking to cure your disappointment for missing the last of the 2012.
Speaking of what is available, you can still satiate your desire for Lotties Shiraz, there are a couple of Magnums left. Yes a very limited number of Lotties, Harries and Samuel Nitschke Magnums are in stock as of the writing of this email. We’ve found that Magnums are a perfect quarantine portion, saving us all the strenuous effort of leaving the couch to hunt down another bottle.
Finally, a massive thanks for your continued support! It is our wholehearted desire to get come out of this crisis and get back to spending time with you in person, at our cellar door, and to continue to create the Moorooroo wines you love. Your support through online, email and phone orders in the interim is absolutely vital. Every order that comes through is celebrated, like a warm virtual hug. We’re thinking of each and every one of you and hope sincerely that you and yours are safe and healthy, and remain so.
