We’ve been loving introducing you all to our awesome new space at Hackney, it’s been great fun to show you how we display our winemaking ethos to a new style of venture. Our real passion and expertise remain with wine so we wanted to let you know our favourite wine experiences to keep an eye out for the next time you visit our cellar doors.
Our Hackney cellar door has two private tasting rooms. Book a room to enjoy with your friends, that one special someone, or the team for corporate events.
If it’s been a while since you’ve visited our Barossa cellar door you’ll notice a few changes, we’ve put in a new bar and extra seating both downstairs and in the mezannine. Now is the perfect time of year to check out the new changes as we’ll have our open fire and all our fantastic wine waiting for you.
Moorooroo Wine Flight
An opportunity to taste the range of excellent wines we carefully craft here at Moorooroo. Like a traditional wine tasting, we’ll guide you through the flight, sharing our impressions of the wine. You’ll get to hear our story and enjoy fine wines as you hang out with us in either our historic stone cellar door in the Barossa or our newly renovated space in Hackney.

Cabernet & Cheese Flight
We’ve partnered with Barossa Valley Cheese Co. to bring you a perfectly matched selection of wines and cheeses. A vertical tasting of our signature Cabernet blend paired with locally produced cheese is a great way to add some variety to your day wine tasting in the Barossa or some spice to a day out in the city. This experience is designed to allow you to enjoy our beautiful spaces and the company you’ve chosen for the day, with minimal interruption.

Shiraz & Chocolate Flight
We’ve partnered with the wonderful Red Cacao on this one. A selection of four chocolates chosen specifically to compliment four of our Shiraz wines. Another diversion from formal wine tastings, this is a fantastic option for a post-lunch experience. We’ve combined our beloved Shiraz range with chocolates hand-made in the Adelaide Hills, swing past and check it out!

In the Barossa we’re also proud custodians of a beautiful David Austen rose garden and picturesque lawns on the banks of Jacob’s Creek, you can take a wander through the grounds after a wine flight. Enjoy one of our cheese boards featuring local Barossa Cheese, olives from the Adelaide Hills and terrine from our favourite local French small goods store down on the lawns with a bottle of your favourite Moorooroo wine.
Alternatively, you can visit our Hackney cellar door and enjoy a wine experience or a glass of wine with a cheese selection or a charcuterie plate.
Making a booking allows us to ensure we have space available and provide you with the best possible experience. We really appreciate everyone who takes the time to quickly jump online and book a flight, especially now as COVID restrictions again limit the number of guests we can have in each space. Wood Oven Pizza is Back on Saturday the 7th of August!
We wanted to take this opportunity to remind you that for the first time since Easter 2019 we’re making our famous pizza at our Barossa cellar door! Bookings are essential for this event and spaces will be limited so if you’d like to join us please book a place now! Wyndham will be firing up the wood oven Saturday, August 7th.
