At Moorooroo Park Vineyards we are the proud custodians of a historic Barossa stone settlement in the beautiful village of Krondorf.
Our family-owned and run winery specialises in a selection of hand-made, barrel-aged, organically grown, small-batch wines, available exclusively at our cellar door. Our winemaker Wyndham employs his experience as a trained chef and obsession with wine to create bold Barossa style reds.
We invite you to join us at our cellar door to explore our range of lovingly crafted wines, enjoy some local cheese, experience our breathtaking David Austen rose garden, or take a stroll across our lawns to the picturesque creek.
During these uncertain times, we are determined to keep our precious community, and our valued customers, safe. To this end, we wanted to provide a quick update in light of the “Parafield cluster” of COVID cases in South Australia.
This weekend we will be open and compliant with restrictions and recommendations put in place by the South Australian Government and SA Health regarding social distancing and hygiene.
We would like you to feel at home and safe in our cellar door and so we are being comprehensive in our response to this latest outbreak. Just some examples of procedures we have implemented to keep you safe are:
-regular sanitation of all areas of our cellar door with particular attention given to high touch areas
-hand sanitiser is available at entrances and exits and within the cellar door
-both Jodie and Ruben have completed COVID marshal training and the cellar door has a Covid Safe Plan in place
-tables, chairs, door handles and EFTPOS terminals are sanitised in between each guest
-toilets are sanitised in between each group
-we have drastically reduced our capacity for guests to maintain social distancing
-we have four distinct seating areas with tables at least 1.5 metres apart
-all tastings are conducted while seated
-we are not taking cash payments
-tasting notes are single-use and pens and clipboards are sanitised between each customer
-we are keeping a contact tracing record
-we are closely monitoring our own health and that of our contacts
Please be assured that we are being very diligent in our efforts. As a cellar door exclusive brand having face-to-face trading hours is very important to our business. However if at any point we feel that we are unable to provide a safe environment for our customers, we will close our cellar door until such a time as we can. We want to thank you in advance for your understanding and for doing your part to keep our communities safe.
