And we’re back!

What an eventful week it’s been! 

As South Australia prepares to come out of lockdown at midnight tonight here at Moorooroo we are super excited about being able to get back in the cellar door and once again offer you a great wine experience (although if were totally honest we may be a little sad about not being able to work in our oodie and ugg’s anymore). Over the past 18 months we have all learned to adjust quickly to changing circumstances but also been pushed to try new and different ways of doing things which has led to us creating new cellar door experiences and new ways to share our wines with you while preserving our proud history of making outstanding wines and providing warm Barossa hospitality. In light of this we wanted to give you an update of exactly what we will be offering at both our Barossa and Adelaide cellar doors as we re-open in line with current restrictions.

Adelaide Cellar Door
31-33 North Terrace, Hackney

Join us at our North Terrace cellar door open from 10am Monday to Friday offering all our wine tasting experiences with 2 private tasting rooms available, book one to enjoy with your friends, that one special someone, or the team for corporate events.

It’s also the perfect place to meet over a glass of wine accompanied with one of our delicious cheese or charcuterie selections as well as Wyndham’s famous sourdough and olives.

We’re also offering daily ‘Happy Hour’ specials from 4:30pm – 5:30pm Monday to Friday just in time for knock-off drinks. 

Barossa Cellar Door
200 Nitschke Road, Krondorf

We’re open in the Barossa every Saturday and Sunday 11am – 5pm offering all our wine tasting experiences. If it’s been a while since you’ve visited our Barossa cellar door you’ll notice a few changes, we’ve put in a new bar and new seated options both downstairs and in the mezzanine.

Now is the perfect time of year to check out the new changes as we’ll have our open fire and all our fantastic Barossa reds waiting to warm you up. 

So swing past tomorrow at North Terrace for our grand “reopening” or visit us in the Barossa over the weekend and enjoy the soothing country delights of the historic Krondorf Village.

Moorooroo Wine Experiences

Moorooroo Wine Flight
An opportunity to taste the range of excellent wines we carefully craft here at Moorooroo. Like a traditional wine tasting, we’ll guide you through the flight, sharing our impressions of the wine. You’ll get to hear our story and enjoy fine wines as you hang out with us in either our historic stone cellar door in the Barossa or our new cellar door in Hackney.

Cabernet & Cheese Flight
We’ve partnered with Barossa Valley Cheese Co. to bring you a perfectly matched selection of wines and cheeses. A vertical tasting of our signature Cabernet blend paired with locally produced cheese is a great way to add some variety to your day wine tasting in the Barossa or some spice to a day out in the city. This experience is designed to allow you to enjoy our beautiful spaces and the company you’ve chosen for the day, with minimal interruption.

Shiraz & Chocolate Flight
We’ve partnered with the wonderful Red Cacao on this one. A selection of four chocolates chosen specifically to compliment four of our Shiraz wines. Another diversion from formal wine tastings, this is a fantastic option for a post-lunch experience. We’ve combined our beloved Shiraz range with chocolates hand-made in the Adelaide Hills, swing past and check it out!

Making a booking allows us to ensure we have space available and provide you with the best possible experience. We really appreciate everyone who takes the time to quickly jump online and book a flight, especially now as COVID restrictions again limit the number of guests we can have in each space.
